Personally, I think that this front cover is intriguing. The main image being the most acknowledgeable, as it is in front of the Masthead, and attracts most of the attention on the page. The sell lines are all very positive with words in each such as 'more', 'power', 'great' and 'build'. The main sell line is 'Get Back in shape', which will be very attractive to many readers as this line is very persuasive. The Skyline 'your ultimate cardio workout p.72' is also very persuasive to the reader as it makes the want to turn to page 72 and read it straight away.
This magazine cover uses a comical picture and a snappy line describing the picture to entice readers and try and persuade them to read the magazine. There is no Skyline on this cover, however the sell line 'dress for success' is apparent for giving a similar message. This is that for whoever reads the magazine they receive the impression they will gain success from dress tips in the magazine.
